Rob and Kelvin react to the Chiefs being scheduled to play three football games in the span of 11 days. While the NFL claims to care deeply about the safety of their players, the guys view this overpacked span of the Chiefs' schedule as a clear indicator that the true priorities lie in maximizing profit.
Rob Parker: "The NFL doesn't care about the players. It's a charade. Poppycock. They don't care! Three games in 11 days? If they could get these guys to play four games a week in the NFL they would. They say one thing and do another. This is outrageous to play this many football games in this little a span."
Kelvin Washington: "Football is such a demanding sport on your body. So taxing. You and I have sat next to football players in this business for years, and we see how they walk. How their fingers are pointing the wrong directions. How their knees are all messed up... and the league knows this! There have been so many studies on what this sport does to the body, [and they still schedule gauntlets like this for the most popular teams.]"
