An excerpt from Seth Wickersham’s upcoming book “American Kings: A Biography of the Quarterback” has painted Caleb Williams and his behavior before and during the NFL Draft in a less than positive light and the Bears quarterback has already been forced to respond even though the book hasn’t been published yet. And while Dan thinks Williams is in a good place in Chicago, he believes this will add even more public scrutiny, especially when the book is published in September, right after Week 1 of the NFL season.
Dan Patrick: “I think it’s a great place for him because you have a great coach there, they do have weapons, and I think they have built an offense around Caleb Williams. Now this is up to Caleb Williams and, you know, this ratchets up the pressure. When this book comes out, this will resurface.”
