Former President Donald Trump teased bringing back former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grennell and former National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, while also adding Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) as national security specialists if elected in the 2024 presidential election next month.

β€œOh, a lot of the people that you like are going to be there, OK?” TrumpΒ said when asked by Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt about the three candidates potentially getting national security jobs during an interview this week via the New York Post. β€œI can name all the people that you like, and I like the same people. So you’ll have those people, and you’ll have more.”

Trump, 78, didn't specifically mention any names for specific roles, however, did mention former U.S. Trade Representative as a potential returnee.

β€œIΒ had a lot of great people, Lighthizer, I had so many great people,” Trump said, before later adding, β€œAnd some of the bad ones, it’s nice, I know who they are."

β€œI know the good ones, the smart ones. I know the dummies. I know the weak ones. I know the people,” he added. β€œWhen I got there, remember, I was a developer from New York. I took a crash course. And I have great people. We have great people lined up. You see that.”
